Grown on soils composed of a mix of gravel and sand over a subsoil of alios and clay, the Les Quarterons cuvée offers an approachable and indulgent take on Cabernet Franc. This terroir produces supple, fruity wines characterized by freshness and vibrant fruit.
This 100% Cabernet Franc is grown using organic and biodynamic farming methods. The grapes, hand-harvested at peak ripeness and carefully sorted, yield a healthy and expressive wine.
The winemaking process, which is natural and uses indigenous yeasts, takes place in tanks with a gentle maceration lasting 2 to 3 weeks. Aging, carried out in tanks on fine lees for 12 months, preserves the purity of the fruit and the wine’s freshness.

Our Review of the Cuvée
The color is brilliant, a vibrant ruby red. The nose opens with an explosion of fresh red fruits, evoking cherry, raspberry, and red currant.
On the palate, the attack is lively and luscious, with lovely freshness. The texture is supple, supported by light, well-integrated tannins. The fruit comes through generously, resulting in a crisp, approachable wine.
The finish is fresh, delicate, and refreshing, leaving you wanting more.
A quintessential pleasure wine, ideal as an aperitif, with summer meals, grilled meats, or even more daring pairings with fish. Best enjoyed young to fully appreciate its fruitiness.

Domaine Amirault, le Clos des Quarterons
Loire | France
Located in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Clos des Quarterons is a family estate rooted in the region for over 180 years. It is currently managed by Xavier Amirault and his wife Agnès, who cultivate approximately 30 hectares of vines within the appellation's strictly defined area.
The vineyard benefits from a particularly favorable environment: a forest to the north protects the plots from cold winds, while south-facing slopes provide consistent sunshine. The soils exhibit significant diversity, blending gravels, tuffeau directly exposed in the limestone, and deeper areas with a predominant clay composition. This geological variety necessitates precise plot-by-plot management.
The estate is managed using organic farming practices, complemented by a progressively integrated biodynamic approach, with particular attention paid to vine observation and soil vitality. Vinifications are conducted plot by plot to preserve the specific characteristics of each terroir.
