The winemaker's pride
The Guy d'Arfeuille family is no stranger to managing vineyards on the Right Bank of Bordeaux. The family owns other chateaux in the Libourne region and acquired Chante Alouette in 1995. Benoit d'Arfeuille, in 20 years, redrew the contours of the vineyard, acquired 3 additional hectares and brought more precision to this terroir wine, thanks to the work of the soil, the modernization of the equipment and the accompaniment of oenologists. Since his recent death, his son Antoine d'Arfeuille has taken over the family business at just 24 years old.
