Mas de capdaniel

Bordered by scrubland, overlooking the Hérault valley in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac appellation, the vines have been cultivated and the grapes vinified for 4 generations. A clay and limestone soil, stony, on which a diversity of grape varieties such as Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache noir and Grenache gris, mourvèdre... the oldest plots are over 70 years old. A traditional and parcel-based vinification method, a terroir that marks the wines with its mark, providing freshness and aromatic complexity.

Our story

"Cap d'aniel" means lamb's head in Occitan.
The Mas de Capdaniel bears the name of the old sheepfold nestled on the edge of the garrigue.
