A family estate in the commune of Gignac, on the edge of the garrigue, where vine growing and winemaking are also part of the heritage. If the estate takes its name from the old sheepfold (Cap d'Aniel for lamb's head), it is the vines that have been worked for 4 generations. The vineyard is located on a clay and limestone soil, in the heart of a fresh valley with the potential for water resurgence. The terroir, the signature that marks the wines with its mark, and the diversity of the grape varieties cultivated, open up the field of possibilities and make it possible to produce wines with character.
In "Capdaniel", the vines have been cultivated and vinified in a private cellar for four generations, but it is in 2014 that the estate finds a new lease of life with its first bottling, thus giving birth to the first "Cap d'aniel" vintages: the result of a family project and an exciting adventure. 2015, Vincent and his children, Sophie and Laurent, selected the oldest vines of the estate to develop a first vintage in the Terrasses du Larzac appellation "les vendanges du petit tom" : a link between the generations.
