The family estate is located in the commune of Visan in the Provence of the popes south of the Drôme. The 30 ha vineyard is composed of a family part of 15 ha in one piece near the historic farm, a part of 8 ha on garrigue soils and 7 ha of hillside plots. Ancient wheat, grassland and lavender crops on 10 ha complete the rotation. The vines are made up of 30% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 15% Carignan, 10% Cinsaut, 5% Mourvedre, 10% Viognier and Marsanne. Varied terroirs between garrigues and hillsides, young vines tended up to 80 years old grenache allow us to produce wines of style and character.
Bathed in organic farming and wine for several generations, Rémi, his wife and their 5 children have settled in the commune of Visan at Domaine Dieu-Le-Fit.
Organic, biodynamic and respect for life, dictate its cultural practices, and are at the heart of its DNA. "
Inspired by the agronomists of the 1960s,
I only use natural products and artisanal
I use lacto-fermented preparations to promote the immunity of the vine and avoid certain pathologies. With the
help of my wife we make our herbal teas and mother tinctures from wild medicinal plants that I then use to help my vines resist diseases such as mildew and powdery mildew.
I also work on the quality of the water used and authorize the use of copper in homeopathic doses and with the help of radiesthesia to adapt to each treatment the really useful and necessary
My goal is to produce wines with a lot of freshness, digestibility and very little sulphites to offer sensitive people pure and balanced wines that respect the soil and terroir.
Organic is not a fashion for us, it is a true state of mind. We "think" about our agriculture, in the preservation of natural resources and in the health of people. The earth provides us with all the essential elements of life, so we make it a point of honour to pay attention to it. Our soils are alive, our vines are mostly more than 60 years old, we privilege quality over quantity, a long and short work that gives us the satisfaction of working our vines, without pesticides or weed killers, and to create wines without inputs. Our wines are pure and digestible made from healthy and balanced grapes.
