In 1987, Jean-Michel Coquard created his business together with his father Joseph Coquard. It was in 2005, when his father Joseph retired, that Jean-Michel brought together the entire estate. Since then, the company has continued to develop.

Domaine Saint Pré is located in the commune of Pommiers in the "Saint-Pré" area, in the heart of Beaujolais. For more than 100 years, the Coquard family has been dedicated to producing and promoting Beaujolais wines, so it is a whole history and know-how that can be found in bottles.

Our story

This estate is a family history where today 3 generations cross paths. It is a whole know-how that is transmitted. Mathieu, representative of the latest generation, is taking over to promote the family estate's products.

"Lovers and passionate about our profession, we work every day to produce quality wines. We have an extremely rich terroir that just needs to be developed. We have a motto from Paul Claudel: Wine is the son of the sun and the earth, but he had work as a midwife."
