Passionate and faithful to the heritage of those who forged the identity of Ferraton & Fils, the men who make up this estate today are united by a strong fraternal bond. They are committed to working the land, the vines and the wine, always respecting their environment to create precise and generous wines that truly reflect their terroir.1998 was the year when the Ferraton house took the step of biodynamic farming thanks to Michel Chapoutier and his experience. The quality of the wines is then privileged and preserved. The estate does everything possible to respect its values. Starting with the respect of the soils so that they deliver all their richness which will allow the vine to restore all the typicities of these so affirmed identity soils. All this with the sole aim of creating simple but daring wines, ready to be shared around convivial moments faithful to the heritage of the family tradition.

The domain's short story

The estate's land has always been home to the Ferraton Père et Fils winery and cellar. The house owns the Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph appellations. But it also brings its experience in winemaking and maturing to other renowned terroirs such as Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Cornas and many others. Today, it is a young and dynamic team that works to perpetuate the know-how acquired over several decades. Men who live the land, the vine. Men who want to be faithful to the inheritance received and bear the new inspirations of the House.

The winemaker's pride

The history of the Ferraton Père et Fils house began in 1946 with Jean Orëns Ferraton. Then his son Michel inherited the same passion, took over the estate and led it in organic viticulture. The men who make up this estate today are united by a strong fraternal bond, all passionate and faithful to their heritage. They have at heart to work the earth, the vine and the wine in the respect of the environment.
