APPELLATION :
Mas Cristine is located in the Albères massif, on the edge of the Collioure/Banyuls cru, isolated in the middle of the oak trees, the vines dominate the pines which slope gently towards the sea. 25 hectares of land are planted on schist, quartz and red clay soils and have been taken over since 2006 by Philippe Gard, Julien Grill and Andy Cook.
Anecdotes about the domain
For us, being a winegrower is to be part of a continuity of know-how and tradition, to make an exceptional terroir prevail in order to get the best out of it and to offer people a moment of sharing and, if possible, of happiness!
The domain's short story
The pleasure is immense when you revive a domain! It is this desire, this will and this passion for the land that united Philippe, Julien and Andy to take on this beautiful challenge in 2006! When they took over the estate in 2006, it was almost abandoned. The first challenge was to restore the vines and to give a new life to old grape varieties that are little worked in Roussillon, such as Roussane and Marsanne for example.
