The Caizergues estate is located in Brissac, north of Montpellier, in the foothills of the Cévennes. The
33 hectares of vines are cultivated in organic farming (1st year of conversion) on very high quality stony soils, mainly clay and limestone. The
proximity of the Séranne massif and a Mediterranean climate with significant temperature variations combining heat, freshness and precipitation allow us to benefit from optimal ripening conditions and produce wines with elegant tannins while preserving freshness and quality of aromas.
2017 has opened a new chapter in the history of the estate. In August 2017, Patricia and Robert Middleton, two British wine lovers, took over the reins of Domaine les Caizergues. They then set up more modern and environmentally friendly wine-making and wine-making practices in order to further develop the estate's potential while respecting its heritage and terroir. The
wines are divided into three ranges whose names reflect the region's
sericultural past:
Les Amoriers, AOP Terrasses du Larzac-Les
Magnarelles, AOP Languedoc, red, white and roséLes
Tisserands, IGP d'OC blanc et rouge.
