Today our vineyard has been perpetuating the family tradition for 5 generations. The heritage of vineyards in the Lalande De Pomerol, Montagne Saint Emilion and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations allows us today to offer a diversified range of red wines. At Bedrenne tradition rhymes with evolution and we try to continually question our production methods in order to be as environmentally friendly as possible: planting of hedges, installation of beehives, HVE certification, cuvée without added sulphites?
Wine is a family affair, at Bedrenne's, it runs in our veins. My mother, Monique, took over the vineyard in 2005 and then my turn came, naturally, out of pleasure and above all out of conviction, I took over the reins of this land. The vines of Lalande de Pomerol come from my grandfather and those of Montagne Saint Emilion come from my grandmother. The 13 hectares of this vineyard represent a privileged working tool which I take care of personally. If a major part of my time is taken up by the vineyard, Monique and Paul will always be there to welcome you, to make you taste, to show you, to share with you the same passion that drives us. If I could sum up our estate in a few words it would be: open-mindedness, sharing, conviviality.
