Dark ruby color. The nose is fruity (black fruits, blackcurrant and ripe) and spicy (black pepper). The mouth is ample on spices and black fruits (blackberries and black cherries). The tannic structure is generous and silky with a nice aromatic length.
The word of the Winemaker, :
A return to the basics.
Fermentation and maturation in a truncated wooden vat with manual punching of the cap, this is a wine with ancestral techniques.
The 75 year old vines put down their roots on the remains of the old Prieuré du Petit Chouzé. Built by Robert d'Arbrissel in the 12th century and ravaged by a historic flood, we want to honor it today.
