Planted on a glacial moraine facing south-west, the vines of Ternay benefit from a soil of large rolled pebbles resting on a clay base. Thanks to their capacity to store the heat of the particularly hot climate, these soils favour good ripening of the grapes. These vines, planted in 1975, produce grapes of great concentration, characteristic of the power of Syrah.

The word of the Winemaker, Jeanne Gaillard :

The village where my father grew up is now part of the Lyon area. However, the vines he planted with his father still resist the invader! I had to express the terroir of it.
