A brilliant, intense purple colour. A subtle and elegant nose, with aromas of ripe black fruits and liquorice, subtly mentholated. A balanced structure with powerful but supple tannins. Good length on the palate, with an intense finish. Hand picked, the grapes destemmed and vinified patiently. Laure and Jean-Jacques blend Syrah and Cabernet-Sauvignon, after 14 months in oak barrels (1/4 new barrels, the rest from 1 to 4 wines).
A beautiful encounter between Cabernet-Sauvignon and Syrah, which the elders already took with them in the 18th century.
To be served with a generous cuisine with Bordeaux or Rhodanian accents according to your heart. To be enjoyed between 15 and 17°C Can be enjoyed young, but it can be kept for 15 to 20 years.
This gourmet wine will go well with deer steak, ostrich, mallard duck, game, but also with a superb filet of grilled beef with vine shoots. The accord is made thanks to the Cabernet Sauvignon extracted by punching down during the vinification and which binds to the finesse of the Syrah which benefited from delicate pumping over morning and evening for a month.
