It was during a stay in Spain that Laurent literally fell in love with this white grape variety. The idea of (re)introducing it to France then began to germinate in his audacious mind. It was a second crush, this time on a terroir, that gave him the opportunity to pursue his dream by planting 14 ha of Albarino.
