Mourvèdre, also called Mataro in Catalonia where it was "born", is Serge Baux's favourite grape variety. It is a seaside variety, demanding, requiring a lot of care... but for what result!!!!

merci pour cette belle appréciation... Le mourvèdre est mon cépage préféré. Il demande beaucoup de travail dans la vigne mais le résultat est proportionnel aux soins qu'il demande.. Vous le savez peut étre Mataro est le nom qu'on lu donne en Catalan . Pensez aussi à l'aérer 2 heures avant de le boire, si possible . Il se garde à merveille
