A brilliant, dark ruby color with purple reflections. An intense nose of fresh fruits with floral notes, red currants. The tannins are very supple, with a good length, a big sweetness, a nice balance and a very greedy finish on the strawberry.
The word of the Winemaker, :
For decades the emblematic grape variety of the Cahors vineyard was called "Auxerrois" then "Cot noir" and finally MALBEC. The particularity of this grape variety is that it offers the possibility of making a variety of wines from the simplest to the most complex.
