Nos vins des Hautes-Alpes
Tous les vignerons des Alpes du SudLes Hautes-Alpes sont terres expérimentales de vin ! Des parcelles de vignes y ont été plantées à 1100 mètres d’altitudes, et plus bas on y cultive des cépages tels que le jacquère, la marsanne ou l’altesse. Les plus couramment utilisés restent tout de même le Grenache, le Cinsault, ou le Chardonnay, avec des apparitions d’aramon, de carignan, de chasan, d’Alicante Bouschet, de Grec rose, de Muscat, de Clairette et de Mollard.
Les vignes ne doivent pas excéder un rendement de 90 hl/ha et atteindre au minimum les 9°. La moitié de la production est du vin rouge, le blanc et le rosé en représentent respectivement 30 et 20%. Le long de la Durance, sur des côteaux au versant sud, les vignes poussent sur des éboulis schisteux.
En bouche on décèle rapidement les tanins des rouges, qui sont structurés et dégagent des arômes de fruits rouges. Le vin blanc se distingue par leur vivacité, leur finasse. La terres qui les a nourri leur confère des notes minérales. Comme les rouges, les vins rosés dégagent des parfums de baies rouges.
