All our winemakers in LoireThe appellation Coteaux-du-Giennois is located in the Centre-Loire sub-region. The white wines are made from the Sauvignon grape variety, while the reds and rosés are made from Gamay and Pinot Noir.
The vineyard extends over 200 hectares and rests on two soils. In the north, the soils are composed of clay, silica and limestone.
In the south, the land is white with siliceous deposits. 8,100 hectolitres are produced each year.
The wines have very different tastes depending on the soil and climate. Generally, whites have a pale golden colour, with aromas of fern, acacia, peach and apricot. The whites are often dry and light. The reds have purple tints, with aromas of red fruits and a beautiful roundness on the palate. The rosés are slightly peppery, lively and elegant.
