Château de Prémeaux
Located between Dijon and Beaune, Château de Prémeaux is part of the Burgundy Grand Cru Wine Route. The estate is currently run by Arnaud Pelletier, representing the fifth generation of a winemaking family established in the area since the 19th century.
The vineyard covers approximately 15 hectares, cultivated using organic farming methods. The plots are primarily planted with Burgundy's emblematic grape varieties: Chardonnay and Aligoté for the whites, and Pinot Noir for the reds. Vineyard work is based on practices that respect the soil and the vines, with controlled yields and particular attention paid to grape ripeness.
In the cellar, winemaking is carried out without the addition of yeasts or enzymes, in a quest for purity and clarity. The wines are primarily single-varietal, with measured extractions and precise aging, in order to preserve the expression of the fruit and the identity of the terroir. The goal is to produce balanced, unadulterated wines, true to their origin.
The entire body of work in the estate offers a classic but masterful interpretation of Burgundy, based on technical precision, respect for living things and a clear expression of grape varieties and soils.
