Everything You Need to Know About Patrimonio
Patrimonio is one of Corsica’s most renowned appellations, located in the north of the island around Saint-Florent. On limestone and marl-limestone soils, the Nielluccio grape produces red wines of remarkable power and complexity.
Patrimonio's reds are tannic and full-bodied, with aromas of red fruit, spices, and Mediterranean scrub. They age beautifully and reach their peak after 5 to 10 years in the cellar. The Vermentino whites are fresh and mineral-driven. The gold standard of Corsican winemaking.
