Domaine Bonnardot
Bourgogne Côte d'Or rouge Grandes Terres 2023
Vin de France | Rouge | 2023
Located in Santenay, this wine is made from grapes grown on plots with clay-limestone soils that benefit from a southeast-facing exposure. The 40-year-old Pinot Noir vines are cultivated using non-certified organic methods, with a focus on eco-responsible practices for the soil and the vine’s growth cycle. Winemaking follows traditional methods, including hand-harvesting, extended maceration, and spontaneous fermentation. Eighteen months of aging in oak barrels refines its character.

Our Review of the Cuvée
From the very first glance, the translucent garnet color captures the eye. The nose is complex, with subtle aromas of black fruit, cherry, and roasted notes. On the palate, the experience is enveloping and fresh, marked by a delicately velvety texture. The initial fruit flavors, deliciously tart, give way to a surprisingly lively finish, laced with subtle spices and licorice. An irresistible wine that lingers in the memory, leaving a fruity and savory impression.
