Les vins de la Madone
Gamays 2024
IGP Urfé | Rouge | 2024
Hand-harvested and made without added sulfites, this red wine derives its unique character from volcanic soils. The winemaking process emphasizes native yeasts and daily punch-downs for slow extraction, followed by a vatting period of 8 to 10 days. After cold stabilization and fine filtration, it is bottled in December 2023. This artisanal approach yields a pure and delicate wine, ideal for appreciating the true essence of Gamay.

Our Review of the Cuvée
From the very first glance, the dark yet translucent purple color intrigues. On the nose, rich aromas of candied black fruits, refreshed by menthol and vegetal notes, intertwine. On the palate, the experience continues with an airy roundness and a delicate texture that surprises with its depth. Flavors of black cherry and candied raspberry harmonize beautifully with resinous-balsamic nuances. The lively and generous finish reveals a surprising concentration, wonderfully balancing ripe fruit and striking freshness.
