Our opinion on the vintage

This gastronomic wine boasts a golden-yellow color with silvery highlights. Its nose reveals a beautiful floral aromatic intensity, with notes of broom. On the palate, it is full-bodied and fleshy, with aromas of poached pear with vanilla and fennel, underpinned by a saline minerality on the finish. Perfect for accompanying delicate dishes such as scallop tartare or foie gras with quince, it will surprise your guests at a dinner party. Best enjoyed chilled, at around 12°C, to fully appreciate its subtlety.

Dourbie Estate

Domaine de la Dourbie

Languedoc | France

Founded in 1781, Domaine de la Dourbie is located on the right bank of the Hérault River, at the foot of the Causse du Larzac plateau. The estate takes its name from the Dourbie, a local river that flows through the vineyard before joining the Hérault. The vineyard has been farmed organically since 2009 and is spread across two distinct areas. Approximately 20 hectares surround the main estate, while a second plot of about 12 hectares is located at nearly 300 meters altitude in the Rouveyrolles valley. This area, surrounded by garrigue scrubland, benefits from a more temperate microclimate, promoting gradual ripening and naturally cooler balances.

All work in the vineyard and the cellar is carried out entirely on site, with particular attention paid to manual harvesting ... Lire plus
