At Mas Mellet, respect for nature is fully expressed through biodynamic viticulture, guided by the lunar calendar and minimal intervention in the cellar. The vineyards, free from any artificial intervention, produce a wine that harmoniously blends Roussanne, Vermentino, Grenache Blanc, and Viognier, grown on a unique sandstone terroir. The natural freshness achieved through sulfur-free vinification on fine lees gives the wine a pure and precise character.

Our Review of the Cuvée

When you take a whiff of this wine, you’ll discover a subtly briny, almost marine nose, evoking a Mediterranean breeze. On the palate, its delicate balance is revealed through notes of white-fleshed fruits and subtle citrus nuances, all beautifully supported by a silky texture and lovely minerality. The flavors are deeply rooted in the unique terroir of the Costières de Nîmes, offering a taste experience that is both invigorating and indulgent, prolonged by an elegant, briny finish. A wine to savor for its authentic expression and vibrant character.

Here, the southern wind is palpable in the wines. Carignan, Grenache, and similar varieties yield supple reds with a direct, unburdened aromatic profile. The wines prioritize drinkability, yet certain terroirs provide surprising depth. In short: pure simplicity. They are easily revisited.
