Mas Mellet
Chemin des Salines 2024
Vin de France | Rouge | 2024
Through meticulous work on a vineyard in Costières de Nîmes, Emilie and Brice Bolognini produce a unique wine made primarily from Cinsault and Grenache grapes, grown using biodynamic methods. These grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with minimal intervention. Short maceration and aging in concrete tanks preserve the natural freshness and briny notes imparted by the terroir near the Mediterranean and the Camargue lagoons.

Our Review of the Cuvée
Mas Mellet wine opens with a delicately fruity nose, revealing subtle hints of red berries and garrigue. On the palate, it stands out for its velvety texture, accompanied by a surprising freshness that evokes a sea breeze. The terroir’s signature saline notes add an extra dimension, enriching the tasting experience. This wine reveals a refined and elegant structure, allowing the nuances of Cinsault and Grenache to fully express themselves, and finishes with a lovely length, leaving a lingering impression of vitality and purity.
Mas Mellet
Languedoc | France
Here, the southern wind is palpable in the wines. Carignan, Grenache, and similar varieties yield supple reds with a direct, unburdened aromatic profile. The wines prioritize drinkability, yet certain terroirs provide surprising depth. In short: pure simplicity. They are easily revisited.
