In the western Loire Valley, in La Chapelle-Heulin, Domaine Bonnet-Huteau is steeped in a long winemaking history, having produced wine on the site for over 150 years. The estate, structured in its current form in 1959, has been run by Jean-Jacques Bonnet and his family since the 1980s.

The vineyard, covering approximately 40 hectares, is cultivated organically, having obtained certification in 2009, and subsequently managed biodynamically. Vineyard work focuses on preserving soil balance and vine vitality in an area characterized by complex terroirs, particularly around the Goulaine crus. The plots are vinified separately to highlight the nuances linked to the soils and sun exposure.

The wines, primarily made from Melon de Bourgogne grapes, seek a precise expression of the terroir, with particular attention paid to tension, depth, and clarity of expression.
