Commonplace brands like Martini, Campari, and others have overshadowed the fact that the tradition of Piedmontese amari dates back to the 18th century and was historically made with the region's best wines! For instance, the Americano is made with Nadia Verrua's Grignolino, and the Vermouth with Moscato and the traditional Cortese grapes! Each of these features a distinct blend of herbs and spices, imparting a unique aromatic profile and characteristic bitterness.
