The "Les Roucoules" plot in the Hermitage vineyard of Domaine Laurent Habrard is a remarkable example of winemaking craftsmanship. Located on limestone soil scattered with pebbles in the hills above the Rhône, it shelters centuries-old vines, some dating back to the post-phylloxera era. Manual and equestrian work is favored on this land, reflecting its authenticity. Aging in barrels for 10 months gives the wine a complexity that evolves over time, revealing different facets according to your taste preferences.

Our opinion on the vintage

A powerful nose blending warm, woody touches of vanilla with buttery and brioche notes. Then, lighter notes of spice, fresh wood, and quince complete the second nose.
On the palate, the round attack quickly gives way to a balanced and powerful whole, supported by a tension and minerality on the finish, guaranteeing freshness and longevity.

Domaine Laurent Habrard

Domaine Laurent Habrard

Vallée du Rhône | France

Domaine Laurent Habrard is first and foremost a story of family and heritage, intimately linked to the vineyards of the Northern Rhône. The founding story recounts that in 1965, a very young Marie-Thérèse came to help with the grape harvest at Louis and Madeleine Habrard's estate, where she met Marcel, one of the sons. From this encounter, a family was born, four children, and the eventual taking over of the estate. Even today, Laurent's parents actively support the estate. The vineyard covers 15 hectares spread across Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, and Hermitage, exceptional terroirs that shape the identity of the wines. The estate is managed on a human scale, with particular attention paid to respecting the environment. Certified organic and HVE (High Environmental Value), the wines are crafted with care, and the reds are vinified without sulfites to preserve their full natural expression.
