Anecdotes about the domain

Being very interested in the preservation of the environment and in good practices, I have committed myself to meet the different criteria of the Independent Winegrowers' quality standards. First of all, since June 2010, I received the Qualenvi certification. Then, continuing this approach, and meeting the various indicators, in June 2015, I obtained: Level 3 HIGH ENVIRONMENTAL VALUE

The domain's short story

After the French Revolution, the estate was born and has been passed down from generation to generation for over two centuries. Each time the estate has been taken over, it has been in accordance with the traditional methods but has brought technical and oenological improvements allowing to have a better quality wine.

The winemaker's pride

Located in the commune of Campugnan, in a place called "La Botte", 13 km north-east of Blaye, in the heart of the "Blaye-Côte de Bordeaux" appellation. The estate covers 18 hectares and is oriented north-south on a clay-limestone soil from the quaternary period. Chateau La Botte is the first HVE-certified vineyard in the Upper Gironde.
