Anecdotes about the domain
At Domaine FL, we're delighted to welcome wine connoisseurs, amateurs and experts alike, as well as explorers of our region, whether they're from the neighboring village or from the other side of the world! One afternoon in May 2019, we had a wonderful surprise that remains one of the most recurrent anecdotes we like to recall among colleagues! A family straight from California paid us a visit, bringing their good humor and simplicity, and yet it was the Murray family, with dear Bill (los in translation, ghost busters, a never-ending day etc. ....), and of course his brothers including Joel (Mad men series in particular). But above all, although we were all more or less film buffs, the idea of imagining this family stopping off at our estate in Anjou seemed so unreal that for over an hour we thought that this impression of "déjà-vu" was due more to a strong resemblance than to the fact that it was the "real Murray"! Of course, after a while, thanks to a more perceptive colleague, we finally realized what was going on.
