Château Peneau

Located at the top of the hillsides that dominate the right bank of the Garonne, the Château Peneau estate is a family wine-growing estate of nearly 30 hectares. In the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards and the Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, the property extends over gravelly and clay-limestone soils, from which balanced, charming and authentic wines are produced.

Our story

At the head of the estate since 1997, my mother-in-law, Dany, manages the vineyard with an incredible dynamism. Michel, her husband, an oenologist by training and above all a distiller, has been with her since the beginning. Today, it is my turn to graft myself into the history of the property: I have been accompanying my mother-in-law for more than 3 years now and gradually taking over the torch.

And it is an explosive duo, mother-in-law/daughter-in-law that works: two generations with different experiences but the same passion, a willingness to merge our skills and a common commitment to make this family property live and develop. So I came into the world of wine for love... first of all for the man who became my husband and the father of my children... then for the love of the wine that has grown over the years.
