Château Gilbert & Gaillard - château gilbert & gaillard - Rouge - 2016

Ruby colour with purple tints. Clean, fresh nose, favouring fruit (small red and black fruits), notes of garrigue and spices. Fresh, mineral, enveloping mouth, with a fine material, with a nice length.

The word of the Winemaker, :

It is the flagship of the estate, made through different parcel selections. The vines are at least 25 years old and are located at an altitude of at least 200 metres. The wine is distinguished, complex and more structured but retains the finesse and elegance provided by the terroir.

The Wine Estate

Château Gilbert & Gaillard belongs, as its name suggests, to the two international tasters. Its surface area is 15 hectares and it is located at the extreme south of the Saint-Chinian appellation on a limestone plateau on hillsides at an altitude of 200 metres within a natural park classified as Natura 2000. It is a family and artisanal estate, where the vines are grown in an environmentally friendly way. For information, part of the soil....

The opinion of Ambassadors
