The Lou Payral vintage has a beautiful deep color with purple reflections; the intense and frank nose develops aromas of ripe fruit and notes of hot chocolate, powdered cocoa very greedy. The mouth reveals the same aromas balanced by a lot of freshness. The tannins are still young but silky, prolonging the finish, with a little bitterness.

The word of the Winemaker, Thierry & Isabelle DAULHIAC :
The Lou Payral vintage is made from Merlot grapes grown on a soil rich in iron oxide, which gives it a special character: it is both rich and nervous.
