Château Nadal-Hainaut - Signum - Rouge - 2018

With its purple colour, Signum is a powerful elixir, without artifices and a true expression of our terroir. A very spicy nose with aromas of redcurrant, slightly jammy. A hint of curry, a hint of cloves and an ounce of pepper, on a final note of liquorice and violet. On the palate, its attack is powerful with concentrated notes of black fruits: blackberry, blackcurrant and black cherry. A refined cuvée with spicy aromas, with a lot of freshness, very beautiful tannins and very slightly woody.

The word of the Winemaker, Jean Marie Nadal :

For this cuvée, we have chosen an integral method of vinification, with manual crushing and punching of the cap bringing to this wine all its depth. This black elixir is a concentrate of our land, it is the fruit of a slow work and a collective achievement. A moment of sharing, a gift of nature received by the common, a gift of us to better share with others.

Un nez aux arômes de fruits noirs. Une bouche épicée. Un boisé bien fondu avec une belle longueur. Sympa !

On sent bien les cépages, voire un peu trop. Vin plein de soleil à déguster avec une viande relevée. J'aime bien l'étiquette et un peu moins son prix. Mais c'est un vin bien fait, équilibré.

Fruits myrtilles, mures, métallique en fin de bouche, fraicheur agréable et assez équilibré.

Nez de confiture de fruits noirs, harmonieux. Vin tannique, boisé et et rond assez classique d'une longueur moyenne : on sent le soleil :)
