Nos vins des Côtes-Catalanes
Tous les vignerons du RoussillonIssus d’une des plus grandes zones de production de vins au monde, les vins de Côtes Catalanes proviennent de toutes les Pyrénées-Orientales, à l’exception de la Côte-Vermeille. Grenache, mourvèdre, syrah et merlot sont les cépages dominant de ces vins rouges.
Une vinification en cuve ouverte est caractéristique de la région, avec un rendement maximal est de 90 hl/ha.
La production annuelle est d’environ 150 000 hectolitres. Les collines sont plus sablonneuses que certains terrains des Côtes, et donne un arôme de garrigue aux vins des Côtes Catalanes. Fruité, et avec un structure tannique très agréable, le vin des Côtes Catalanes, le rouge s’habille de pourpre aux reflets violets. Il a des parfums de fruits rouges puis d’épices et de fleurs. Le blanc, jaune pâle, a un nez d’agrumes et de pin. La bouche du rouge se révèle très puissantes, avec des tanins forts. Il gagne à être conservé et se bonifier.
