Our opinion on the vintage

On the nose, this wine reveals subtle aromas of ripe red fruit, a signature of Auvergne Gamay, enhanced by a delicate touch of Chardonnay. The attack on the palate is crisp and lively, supported by a short maceration of eight days that preserves all the freshness of the grapes. The texture is silky, with a balanced structure and a refreshing, light acidity due to the altitude of the vines. The finish is clean, leaving an impression of purity and minerality accentuated by aging in tanks and the absence of filtration, which preserve the authenticity of the flavors. This wine is a beautiful expression of the unique terroir of Montpeyroux.

Les Chemins de l'Arkose

Languedoc | France

In the Puy-de-Dôme region, volcanic soils sculpt vibrant, precise wines, almost mineral in texture. The estate cultivates Gamay and Pinot Noir with a very gentle extraction process. The result: elegant, lingering, and remarkably easy-drinking reds. A beautiful expression of altitude.
