Our Review of the Cuvée

This wine has a sparkling light gold color, dotted with fine bubbles, hinting at a promising tasting experience. The nose entices with aromas of pear in syrup and marzipan, enhanced by marine notes. On the palate, it surprises with its creamy texture and invigorating freshness. The micro-bubbles offer a pleasant liveliness, while flavors of warm, subtly spiced apple unfold. The finish is a ballet of sensations: acidity marked by lemon and green apple, a hint of bitterness from apricot pits, and a subtle astringency reminiscent of chalk and citrus juice. The salty and spicy notes prolong the pleasure.

Domaine Bonnet-Huteau

Burgundy | France

Located in the western Loire Valley, in La Chapelle-Heulin, Domaine Bonnet-Huteau boasts a long viticultural history, with wine production on the site spanning over 150 years. The estate, structured in its current form in 1959, has been managed by Jean-Jacques Bonnet and his family since the 1980s.

The vineyard, spanning approximately 40 hectares, is cultivated organically, with certification obtained in 2009, and subsequently managed biodynamically. Viticultural practices aim to preserve soil balance and vine vitality in a region characterized by complex terroirs, particularly around the Goulaine crus. Individual parcels are vinified separately to highlight the nuances associated with specific soils and exposures.

The wines, predominantly crafted from Melon de Bourgogne, seek a precise expression of the terroir, with particular attention paid to tension, depth, and clarity. ... Read more
