PETRA ALBA originates exclusively from a limestone terroir, historically known as 'Anjou blanc' (in contrast to 'Anjou noir' with its schist soils). It is crafted from Cabernet Franc, the preferred grape variety for this type of terroir.
PETRA ALBA exhibits fruity aromas, coupled with the depth, power, and noble character typical of fine wines. The geological nature of this exceptional terroir imparts finesse, fruitiness, and a luscious structure.
After a serene rest in bottles for 2 or 3 years, it will harmoniously pair with meats and cheeses. To best appreciate its qualities, it should be uncorked a few hours prior and served at room temperature.
