Our Review of the Cuvée
The color is a translucent dark ruby. The nose is subtle, with hints of plum pit and resinous-balsamic notes that transport you to Italy. The palate is taut, stretched by a delicate acidity, and offers a velvety, pulpy texture with superbly dark fruit and that same balsamic character. The finish prolongs the tension of the palate, accompanied by a delicate, savory chewiness, with red cherry and plum and their respective pits, and that lingering acidity that carries through to spicy, resinous, and balsamic notes. A favorite!

Thomas Finot
Loire | France
A forgotten grape variety can transform a landscape: this is what Thomas Finot has demonstrated by reviving Verdesse and Etraire de la Dhuy in the foothills of the Isère. His wines possess a precision, almost crystalline in quality, without ever becoming austere. The freshness comes naturally, as if flowing from the nearby mountain. The reds unfold gently, while the whites oscillate between tension and quiet maturity. A patient revival effort with far-reaching impact.
