Our family vineyard is located in the South Coteaux d'Epernay region, on Moussy, Pierry Premier Cru famous, Epernay. Sandrine, Pascal and their son Thibaut cultivate the three grape varieties in the champagne appellation spread over a mosaic of 42 plots. At the crossroads of the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs, our terroir is very diversified, with clayey-limestone, silty soils and small flints. Our grapes ripen under optimal conditions on steep slopes with a South-South-East exposure.
Committed to the preservation of our terroir, for more than 18 years, we have been practising grassing and ploughing under the vines. Seeds are selected to preserve our soils, maintain biodiversity and limit the erosion of our hillsides. Our farm has obtained two labels: "High Environmental Value" and "Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne" which reflect our various environmentally friendly methods and our landscaping efforts.
I started a military career, but when I met Sandrine... my life took another turn, Robert, winegrower and father of Sandrine quickly passed on his virus to me: the passion for the winegrowing profession, after having granted me his daughter's hand.
A transmission of know-how, rigour of daily life, sharing between father-in-law and son-in-law, accompanied by Sandrine, at the time a customer manager in a bank. I enjoy and respect this family support. I believe I have a responsibility and commit myself collectively to our business, our terroir, in order to perpetuate and monitor developments for our children and future generations.
My winegrower's credo: it is the respect of humans, nature, our vines, our soils, and a careful work in order to obtain quality grapes. Sharing and collective progress in the profession, respect for the winegrowers' differences and the wealth they can bring. To offer you the best that nature has to offer, our vintages are very different, you need them for all occasions and tastes... Nature does things well! I have a slight weakness for our Reserve Cuvée, for its harmony between the Meunier grape variety which brings a fruity and aromatic side and the Chardonnay, which brings freshness with some citrus notes, a balanced, accomplished and fulfilled wine.
What distinguishes all our vintages is their full and gourmet character combined with a very present freshness. It is not easy to choose a wine, and under what circumstances? Our hearts go out to you.... Trust your taste buds, let your sensations guide you, the best wine or champagne will be the one you will enjoy anyway, which will make you spend a pleasant moment.
