Château Julia was born in 2009 on 0.62 ha in Pauillac between Château Lynch Bages and Château Latour. On 6 small plots, I produce an exceptional wine with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Harvested and sorted by hand, the grapes are transported to the winery in Saint Laurent Médoc, my home town. They are vinified in the Médoc tradition and then the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels. I have also inherited 5.80 hectares in the Haut-Medoc where I make a wine for pleasure.

These 2 vineyards have belonged to my family for four generations. I have chosen to make my own wines: Château Julia,

Our story

My parents worked these vines in a cooperative cellar and were mainly specialized in the breeding of dairy cows. They absolutely did not want me to be a farmer. So I had a general baccalaureate, and the same year my father died. It is therefore before the notary that I choose to "take over" the farm. Not knowing how to do anything, I tried a little bit of everything, and I quickly preferred the vines!

I then passed a btsa in vineyard management and settled as a young farmer in 2002 in a cooperative cellar. For 7 years, I stayed in the vineyards without ever making or selling wine. Frustrated, I came out and decided to make my own wines!

Other little stories

So, I learn and I still learn, every day, with each vintage, cultivating each plot, in front of each customer!
Of course the PAUILLAC appellation helps me a lot in this adventure, but every year I am in search of doing better with what nature has
to offer.

My greatest wish is to give as much satisfaction to my customers as the wines of my great neighbours, with a better quality/price ratio

!

I therefore invite you to taste them, to
