Domaine La Galaura

The vineyard of Domaine La Galaura is located in the heart of the Agly valley, at the foot of the Château de Queribus. The 70-year-old vines are planted on a black schist plateau, surrounded by scrubland. The two varieties of grapes planted in cups: grenache and carignan are harvested by hand. The low yields give rise to a generous and fruity wine. The schist soil brings elegance and freshness.

Our story

La Galaura, founded in 2006 by 3 wine enthusiasts, represents a new way of producing Languedoc wine. The idea is to create exceptional wines with low yields. All the work is done by hand, and the only goal is to get the best out of each terroir.
La Galaura is above all the result of a unique adventure
around wine.

First of all, because we consider that only exceptional grapes make wines of exceptional quality. To this end, we pay particular attention to the cultivation of the vine while respecting its

environment.
