Domaine Philippe Cordonnier is located in the commune of Corgoloin in Burgundy, in the Burgundy Aligoté and Hautes Côtes de Beaune appellations. Its first vintages immediately conquered our team, it is undeniably one of the new domains to follow in Burgundy!
Philippe Cordonnier has been in contact with the vine since his youth. After a training in Beaune, he learned the trade of winegrower by working in several Burgundy estates. In 2009, he decided to create his own domain. In 2015, he made his first vintages.
Today, the estate extends over 3.50 hectares and is cultivated in a rational way, with the greatest respect for the terroir. No chemical weedkillers or insecticides are used. Only tillage is done by ploughing. The estate keeps natural grapes as in organic farming and thus allows you to faithfully appreciate the flavours of Burgundy wines.
For once, this winegrower does not come from a winegrower's family! However, Philippe Cordonnier has the experience of an elder. He fell into the vineyard in his youth, planted his own vines and managed everything from the seed to the bottle. Vintage after vintage, Philippe gains confidence to make the Burgundian climates speak for themselves in the glass.
