Maxime and Christophe Chéneau are the winegrowers of the estate. Les Vignobles Chéneau is a family estate mainly of Muscadet Sèvre and Maine sur Lie but also in the communal appellation "Mouzillon-Tillières" whose character and representative of their most beautiful terroirs.
With its ancestral know-how, Maxime Chéneau offers you a wide variety of wines whose concentrated aromas reflect a slow vinification at low temperature.... Produced at the family estate, Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie Château de Beau-Soleil is an emblematic cuvée of Vignobles Chéneau.
We are producers of Muscadet de Bretagne, and our primary objective is to offer you high quality wines that contribute to the reputation of Breton wines throughout France, Europe and the rest of the world.
All our estates are located in the Loire-Atlantique department and are open to the general public two weekends a year. The open house takes place at the end of April and November.
The estate was created in 1768. Winegrowers from father to son, it is today Christophe and Maxime Chéneau who are at the head of the estate. Château de la Cormerais is from the medieval seigneury and was acquired by our family in 1856. Château de Beau Soleil has been a family property since 1919.
Very attached to our native Brittany, we created in 2010 a "Breizh" range. This range is a tribute to our beautiful region of Brittany. To date, the ninth generation is in charge of the family estate.
The year 2018 was a special year for us. We celebrated the 250th anniversary of the estate. It is a pride that we felt it was important to celebrate and respect. A passion that has been passed on from father to son for generations.
