Château d'Arlay
macvin blanc - Liquoreux

Jura, Côtes du Jura

(1)
Château d'Arlay - macvin blanc - Liquoreux
27€55

Intense golden colour, generous material. Open nose on a hint of old pomace followed by candied fruits. Long and balanced on the palate, fig, honey and raisins combined with notes of old marc and kirsch dominate the other candied fruit notes (angelica...). Intense.... It immediately makes you want to marry it: with pear, ginger, chocolate... In addition to his two stars in the Guide Hachette 2017, he received the Silver Medal at the 2016 Jura Wine Competition!

The word of the Winemaker, :

A blend of Marc and unfermented grape juice, Macvin d'Arlay acquires its letters of nobility through its ageing. Here it is an Old Marc of 7 years of barrel which is blended with the juices. The whole will improve again 3 more years in wood to finally give our nectar.

How ?

It will be consumed as an aperitif, fresh, will accompany your summer melons. NOM DU VIGNERON
Domaine Grand

Nathalie & Emmanuel GRAND

Nathalie and Emmanuel Grand, two wine and vine enthusiasts, have created a 9.5 hectare winery. After a long work of setting up in the vineyard, the 2018 harvest marks the beginning of the conversion of the estate to organic farming for a label with the 2021 harvest. Our philosophy is based on simple values: Respect for the land, the terroir, the grapes, the wine and the people, this has been the watchword at Domaine Grand for the 9 generations of winegrowers who have run their vineyards. The conversion to organic farming requires high standards, rigour and passion, which are the keys to success in order to fully express the fulfilment of our work in the creation of our vintages. More than a philosophy, respect for nature, listening to it, for Domaine Grand it is an art of living. ...
