Fresh nose, reminiscent of fresh fruit with a slight hint of vanilla. The palate is full, slightly smoky with very present tannins and a good length. The aromas of red fruits and the vanilla side remind us of the maturity of the old vines.
The word of the Winemaker, :
Les Clos Lourioux is the historical vintage of the Olivier estate. This wine, partly aged in old barrels, is traditionally vinified in stainless steel tanks before being put in barrels for aging. Coming from the best terroirs of Saint Nicolas, it is a wine to be consumed after a few years of aging.
