Wine Auctions at the Beaune Hospice

This is one of the most famous events eagerly anticipated each year by the most passionate enthusiasts. Since 2005, Christie’s has remained a steadfast partner of the Hospices de Beaune, working to promote these auctions to a distinguished clientele. The funds raised during the auction are donated to the Hospices de Beaune’s charitable causes: improving medical facilities and preserving historic monuments. The Hospices de Beaune is a place steeped in history, and purchasing a wine from the Hospices also means contributing to the preservation of this historic site.

Artcurial Auction House

Artcurial, located in the 8th arrondissement, was acquired in 2002 by Nicolas Orlowski and Francis Briest after having operated as an art gallery for 30 years. Today, it specializes in the sale of art and antiques and has quickly become the leading auction house. The company organizes more than 100 auctions per year, and its business spans 20 specialties, including the sale of wines and spirits. The building offers 2,000 square meters of space dedicated to displaying items for sale. The fine wines and spirits department, led by Laurie Matheson and Luc Dabadie, is recognized worldwide, and its genuine expertise in presenting fine wines is of the highest quality.
