Chapuis & Chapuis

Bourgogne | France

In Pommard, the Chapuis & Chapuis estate, run by two brothers, produces wines from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes sourced from local vineyards, both from their own vines and from a carefully selected network of négociants. This dual approach allows them to work with different origins while maintaining a constant focus on the quality of the raw materials.

The winemaking process relies on spontaneous fermentations and gentle extractions, with the aim of preserving the finesse of the textures and the clarity of the fruit. The red wines are distinguished by a fine texture, a clear expression of Pinot Noir, and a marked verticality, reminiscent of classic Burgundian interpretations, without striving for power.

The white wines maintain a clear tension, supported by perfectly ripe grapes and judicious aging. The estate's work as a whole prioritizes sincerity and precision, offering balanced wines built on finesse and coherence rather than stylistic flourishes.
