In Pommard, the Chapuis & Chapuis estate, managed by two brothers, crafts wines from local Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, sourced both from their own vineyards and from meticulously selected négociant partners. This dual approach allows them to work with diverse origins while maintaining consistent standards for raw material quality.

Vinification processes rely on spontaneous fermentations and gentle extractions, aiming to preserve textural finesse and fruit clarity. The red wines are characterized by a fine grain, a clear expression of Pinot Noir, and a marked verticality, reminiscent of classic Burgundian interpretations, without seeking excessive power.

The white wines retain a distinct liveliness, supported by perfectly timed ripeness and restrained aging. The estate’s entire approach prioritizes authenticity and precision, producing balanced wines built on finesse and consistency rather than stylistic flair.
