Domaine de Brin

Out of sight

Vin de France | White | 2017

This wine is produced entirely from the Loin de l'œil grape variety, grown on clay-limestone soil. The vines, meticulously tended through both manual and mechanical processes, are managed with permanent cover cropping, ensuring low yields of exceptional quality. The winemaking process includes careful hand-harvesting, direct pressing, and a long, natural fermentation. Extended aging completes this precious process, resulting in a wine with rich aromatic complexity.

This wine reveals a complex array of flavors where each taste is a discovery, underpinned by a beautiful freshness that highlights its finesse. Extended aging in oak barrels adds further depth, making each sip as long as it is satisfying. Serve chilled to reveal its full splendor.

Brin Estate

Domaine de Brin

Sud-Ouest | France

In Gaillac, the Brin estate is run by Damien Bonnet, with particular attention paid to the region's historic grape varieties. Braucol, Duras, and Loin-de-l'Oeil are worked plot by plot, in order to highlight the differences in soil and the nuances specific to each origin.

The vineyard is managed using organic practices, promoting a clear expression of the fruit and natural balance. In the cellar, winemaking is carried out with precision and restraint, seeking to preserve the tension and suppleness of the wine rather than creating showy wines. Extractions are kept to a minimum, resulting in wines that are easy to understand and approachable.

The wines are distinguished by their straightforward structure, consistent energy, and a clearly defined Gaillac identity. All the cuvées display a beautiful coherence, built around balance, freshness, and a faithful expression of the Gaillac terroir.
