Our opinion on the vintage

Upon opening, the first impression is a delicate nose with notes of frangipane and beeswax, subtly enhanced by dried citrus peel. On the palate, its elegant and invigorating profile is refreshing, with a sharp structure accompanied by a light, invigorating effervescence. Spices mingle with the flavors of dried orange peel, creating a captivating depth. The finish lingers with increasing tension, unfolding an intensity that reaches its peak in a spicy and thirst-quenching balance.

Sabots d'Hélène

Languedoc | France

In the wild heart of the Corbières, Les Sabots d'Hélène crafts wines where the rustic landscape blends with a quest for purity. The plots, worked with minimal intervention, yield free-spirited juices, sometimes slightly austere, but always driven by pure fruit and a supple texture. Carignan and Grenache express themselves in a juicy, almost tactile register, with an unexpected freshness for this high-altitude area. Minimal aging allows for a direct, unadorned aromatic expression. These are sincere, vibrant wines that tell the story of an uncompromising terroir.
