Régnié Agath the Blues 2022

Régnié | Red | 2022

This Régnié cuvée comes from 60- to 65-year-old vines, currently being converted to organic farming. After cold maceration, the grapes are vinified in concrete tanks, without sulfur or any other additives during vinification, which highlights its natural character. Partially aged in demi-muids and blended with tank wine, it is finally bottled with a very light addition of sulfur.

Domaine la Bonne Tonne

Beaujolais | France

Located in Morgon, in the iconic Côte du Py area, Domaine de la Bonne Tonne is a family estate whose current structure has been built up over generations. The vineyard is the result of combining plots from the parents' and grandparents' holdings, complemented by family vines, forming today a coherent whole rooted in the best slopes of Morgon.

The estate is managed organically, with certification obtained in 2003. Viticulture prioritizes a self-sufficient approach, attentive to the natural balance of the vines, with a focus on achieving optimal ripeness and controlled yields. The meticulous work on individual plots allows for the nuanced expression of the area's geological diversity, a key characteristic of Morgon.

  • The vines are spread across several named locations with very distinct profiles.
  • Les Charmes, on granite soils, produces wines that are more supple, fruity and approachable.
  • Grand Cras brings more structure and depth, ... Lire plus
